The collection consists of the draft manuscript of a collection of student poetry. Entitled "Minor Chords: 1890-1927," it was edited by Shelby and P.F. Jones and contains poetry written by Davidson College students.

The collection consists of a poster with a photograph and poems written by Turner. One poems is based on the Davidson College alma mater, the other is entitled "My Fur-Trimmed Hat Retired on Wildcat's Frame.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of student papers given to the Archives by several academic departments. With the exception of two undated and unsigned papers from the earliest days of the school, these examples of student work are all from the 1970s forward. While most of the files are research papers, there are also examples of creative writing.
