The Davidson College Community-Based sub-group consists of oral histories and interviews that explore the history and culture of the Town of Davidson and other local communities. The sub-group contains interviews with long-time Davidson residents, select college faculty and staff, alumni/ae who called the area home, and representatives from community organizations.

Scope and Contents The collection contains membership information (1912-1967), which includes information about its founding members in 1912 and the final group of pledges in 1967. There is information about the group's house mother, Miss Johnsie Shelton, most of which is printed material from the celebration of her 10 years of service to the fraternity.
