The Faculty Committee on the College Calendar was a subcommittee of the Executive Committee and was created to "take another look" at the possibility of a change from a term system to a semester system. A similar study in 1979 identified certain departments and programs for which such a change would create real, or imagined, problems. Discussion was given to a three-term system and to a two-semester system.
