This Record Group contains materials that pertain to student organizations on campus. There are nearly three hundred groups ranging from the historic and earliest organizations such as Philanthropic and Eumenean Societies to the Ugly Club to fraternities, Black Professional Development Working Group, to Mental Health Ambassadors, and Young Americans for Freedom. Examples of records are constitutions and bylaws, agendas, photographs, and promotional materials.

Scope and Contents The first folder contains the constitution and 2005-2006 budget proposal to the Activities Tax Council. The second folder mostly contains correspondence and e-mail announcements, but also had two newspaper articles concerning the Women's Film Festival. The second Correspondence folder contains email correspondence about meeting and events, along with minutes. There are minutes from the 2006-2007 academic year. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Records, 2009-

The collection consists of flyers and note cards from their September 11, 2009 event "We Remember." People were encouraged to write down their memories of September 11, 2009. The sorority had tables up from Monday -Friday of the week in the College Union and on Friday outside of Chambers Building as well. The cards are unsigned. There are also posters for other events.

Alpha Tau Omega. Records, 1950-1983

Scope and Contents The collection contains the original letter granting authority to organize an ATO Club, the petition from the A.T.O. to the national chapter of ATO, copies of by-laws and revisions, and materials related to the 1951 installation. The minutes date from 1950 to 1968, with a gap between 1960 and 1966. The membership records provide biographical data and student activity lists for each member from 1951 to 1959. The Financial materials cover only two years and reflect basic budget activities....

American Chemical Society - Student Affiliates (ACS-SA). Correspondence, 2005

The folder contains e-mail correspondence beginning in August 2005 that describes a meeting held over the summer. The rest of the correspondence contains meeting minutes and plans for their speaker, Dr. Dennis Liotta. There is also a poster of the Dr. Liotta lecture in oversize.

The 1982-1983 folder contains fliers announcing Amnesty International's events. There are also little slips of paper that served as correspondence to the members to announce events. The 2005-2006 folder contains e-mail correspondence within Amnesty International that discussed meeting times, funding requests, and the planning of events, such as A Night of a Thousand Dinners to raise money for Adopt-A-Minefield and bringing in speakers. The oversize materials are posters for events.
