RG/RG12. Student Organizations
This Record Group contains materials that pertain to student organizations on campus. There are nearly three hundred groups ranging from the historic and earliest organizations such as Philanthropic and Eumenean Societies to the Ugly Club to fraternities, Black Professional Development Working Group, to Mental Health Ambassadors, and Young Americans for Freedom. Examples of records are constitutions and bylaws, agendas, photographs, and promotional materials.

Scope and Contents The collection consists of copies of by-laws and proposed revisions, membership lists, correspondence concerning chapter meetings and the 50th anniversary celebration in 1973, and publicity materials. The collection also contains all programs printed and used between 1962 and 1994. Copies of Speeches made at Phi Beta Kappa meetings by Dr. O.C. Carmichael, Robert F. Davidson, Barnaby C. Keeney, W. Brown Patterson and Ralph W. Pfouts are also found here.
