This Record Group contains materials that pertain to student organizations on campus. There are nearly three hundred groups ranging from the historic and earliest organizations such as Philanthropic and Eumenean Societies to the Ugly Club to fraternities, Black Professional Development Working Group, to Mental Health Ambassadors, and Young Americans for Freedom. Examples of records are constitutions and bylaws, agendas, photographs, and promotional materials.

Scope and Contents The collection contains a detailed history of the chapter, compiled by Bill Carroll (D.C. 1990). There are minutes from 1890-1955. Some minutes from 1921-1955 are oversize and are housed separately. Correspondence dates from 1918-1993. There is information about the early members of the group, as well as information from 1952, and there are lists of members from the 1988 rechartering efforts. The 1987 Petition runs to over 90 pages with information abou the history and future goals...
