This Record Group contains materials that pertain to student organizations on campus. There are nearly three hundred groups ranging from the historic and earliest organizations such as Philanthropic and Eumenean Societies to the Ugly Club to fraternities, Black Professional Development Working Group, to Mental Health Ambassadors, and Young Americans for Freedom. Examples of records are constitutions and bylaws, agendas, photographs, and promotional materials.

Scope and Contents The collection contains some historical information about the chapter. There are minutes from 1880-1930; these are oversized and are housed separately. There is a report to the national headquarters describing the founding of the chapter and a Kappa Alpha Magazine from 1884 with several mentions of the Davidson chapter's activities. Scope and Contents The collection contains a small amount of historical information. There is a small amount of correspondence from 1922-1924, 1957, 1976, and 1989.
