This Record Group contains materials that pertain to student organizations on campus. There are nearly three hundred groups ranging from the historic and earliest organizations such as Philanthropic and Eumenean Societies to the Ugly Club to fraternities, Black Professional Development Working Group, to Mental Health Ambassadors, and Young Americans for Freedom. Examples of records are constitutions and bylaws, agendas, photographs, and promotional materials.

The file contains a brochure describing PIRG, several newspaper articles about the organization, and a copy of "A Guide to Off-Campus Housing in the Davidson College Area" that was written by the organizaiton.

The Printed Materials folder contains material from 1986, an unknown year, and 2008. The First Responders - Correspondence & Printed Materials folder contains email correspondence between the volunteers and a First Responders magnet. The R.A.P.E. - Correspondence folder contains two copies of a 1985 letter announcing the formation of the committee.

This collection consists primarily of Student Organization registration forms and attachments (including a description/statement of purpose). There is also a printed photo and a 2002 email from Alison Holby to Rob Spach (Laurie Hibbett cc'ed) expressing interest in created a RUF chapter at Davidson College. Finally, there is a small RUF sticker and a glossy RUF pamphlet. There are also screen shots of the RUF website.
