This Record Group contains materials that pertain to student organizations on campus. There are nearly three hundred groups ranging from the historic and earliest organizations such as Philanthropic and Eumenean Societies to the Ugly Club to fraternities, Black Professional Development Working Group, to Mental Health Ambassadors, and Young Americans for Freedom. Examples of records are constitutions and bylaws, agendas, photographs, and promotional materials.

Alpha Tau Omega. Records, 1950-1983

Scope and Contents The collection contains the original letter granting authority to organize an ATO Club, the petition from the A.T.O. to the national chapter of ATO, copies of by-laws and revisions, and materials related to the 1951 installation. The minutes date from 1950 to 1968, with a gap between 1960 and 1966. The membership records provide biographical data and student activity lists for each member from 1951 to 1959. Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Records, 1858-1994

Scope and Contents The collection contains historical information, including a copy of the fraternity history from the 1897 Quips and Cranks and the manuscript "Milestones Backward Run," a detailed history of the fraternity to 1940. There are copies of the constitution, including a copy of the original constitution written by Robert Hall Morrison Jr. in 1858. Scope and Contents

The collection contains a copy of the constitution of the group, newsletters from 1952, rush publications from 1951, and invitations and programs from 1948-1952. There is also a letter to Davidson College Treasurer Grier Martin about renovating Eumenean Hall and a scrapbook with photographs, programs and newsclippings from 1947 to 1953.
