Scope and Contents

The first folder of the Pre-Law Society contains newsletters from 1987 until 1992 that highlighted meeting, LSAT registration and classes, announcements, and activities. The second folder contains e-mail correspondence during the 2005-2006 academic year, which included meeting and event annoucements. The third folder contains the club's Constitution, updated Spring 2008.

Biographical / Historical

Upon the recommendation of the VPAA Pre-Law Committee, the Student Government Association (SGA) budgeted $200 for the formation of the first Pre-Law Society, which began its meetings and activites during the 1975-1976 academic year. The Pre-Law Society is an organization focused on developing student activities and contacts for those considering pursuing careers in law or law-related fields.
