Biographical / Historical
The Davidson Heraldic and Genealogical Society was founded in 1977 with history professor Jonathan Bolton as the adviser. The purpose of the organization was to encourage and assist students with family genealogy research. The club hosted speakers and in conjunction with the Union Minorities Committee and the Committee on Cultural Events presented a Medieval Play and banquet. The group appears to have existed for only one year.
