Scope and Contents
This collection contains correspondence regarding scheduling volunteers to assist and organize the bone marrow typing for the National Marrow Donor Program. There are also printed materials, primarily publicity flyers and Be the March brochures. Posters produced by Project Life are housed in oversize storage and t-shirts in the Artifact Collection (A-726, A-727).

Biographical / Historical
Created in 1990, Project Life was created in response to Davidson student David Lindsay's successful bout with leukemia. Project Life attempts to provide bone marrow typing events to as many people as possible at no cost to the potential donor. This organization registers students and members of the community for the National Marrow Donor Program.
