Scope and Contents

The collection consists of Price's student notebooks. The notebooks include Mathematics with an account ledger, 1841-1842 and a collection of poetry and quotations from 1843. There are three books belonging to Price: The Early History of the South by Lily Lambert; The Gentleman's New Pocket Farrier by Richard Mason; McGuffey's New Sixth Eclectic Reader. There is also a family letter describing his Philanthropic Society badge and the badge (A-548 - on display in archives reading room).
