The collection consists of notes on the town of Davidson, North Carolina during the first decade of the twentieth century. The notes include information about moving to Davidson, descriptions of the town and college.
Biographical / Historical
Mary Richards was the daughter of the Rev. C. M. Richards, pastor of Davidson College Presbyterian Church and professor of religion at Davidson College. She attended Converse College and also spent at year studying at Oxford in 1923. She taught school in Mocksville, Davidson, and Mebane, NC.
