Biographical / Historical
A. Gordon Finley was a native of North Wilkesboro, NC and graduated from Davidson College in 1918. He returned to North Wilkesboro and entered his family business, Wilkesboro Manufacturing Company. He became president of the company in 1938 and was active in civic groups as well. He died in 1952.
