Scope and Contents This collection contains eleven letters written from France during World War I by Charles Montgomery to Miss Cornelia "Cornie" Fore of Charlotte. The letters were written between June and September of 1918 (one undated).
Scope and Contents The majority of the collection relates to John Frederick Nash but there are also records documenting the Nash and Floyd families. The materials relating directly to John Frederick Nash include correspondence, literary materials, medical ledger, insurance records, legal and financial records, printed materials, scrapbooks, photographs, and artifacts. The correspondence includes letters sent to Nash by family members while he was a student at Davidson College, letters written during World War I...

Scope and Contents These papers consist of a typescript of anecdotes written by Dr. Vinson in 1953 relaying his experiences as a student, at a tuberculosis sanitarium in New York state, at Montreal General Hospital, with the medical corps in Italy during World War I, and reminiscences of colleagues at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Vinson titled the typescript, "Doctors I Have Known."
Scope and Contents The collection consists primarily of correspondence relating to her real estate and business investments from 1898 to 1934. While the correspondence is fairly routine, it does reflect economic changes during World War I and the Depression. There are also letters from Davidson College students written during World War I.
