Bailey, of Petersburg, VA reporting to her the details of her son's sickness and death at Davidson. Bailey entered Davidson in 1863, but died of a sudden illness in April of 1864. The second piece is a photocopy and typescript of a letter written by Dr. Kirkpatrick to an unknown recipient in April of 1866.
