Scope and Contents While a student at Davidson College, Wilson kept an extensive scrapbook of his memories. Of particular note, information is available on the Bachelor's Club, Camp Cherokee, Camp MacLellan, Reserved Officer Training Corps, Phi Gamma Delta, and Omicron Delta Kappa. Scope and Contents As a student at Davidson, Paul B. Freeland kept an extensive scrapbook. This scrapbook documents the history of Davidson from 1921-1925. The scrapbook is divided into four time periods -- each according the the four years that Paul was a student -- his freshman, sophomore, junior and senior year. Scope and Contents During his student years at Davidson College, Osborne Bethea kept a scrapbook. Included in this scrapbook are student signatures and photographs of his friends. One interesting photograph shows a student (freshman?) going through "hazing" as he is being spanked by two other students with boards. There is also a good picture of a man holding an old camera.
Scope and Contents The collection consists of a certificate from the Army Training Corps at Davidson College (1918), correspondence from F. L. Jackson and Davidson College president, William J. Martin (1921), minutes of the meeting of the Student Body of Davidson College, (1921), and an invitation to a cadet supper (1922). The correspondence from Martin and the minutes relate to the question of hazing.
Scope and Contents During his student years (both at Davidson and prior), Buchanan kept a scrapbook. Included in this scrapbook are pictures taken in Japan and China, pictures of various women that he met, pictures of Buchanan with his friends, and a photograph of a man suffering "hazing."
