The letters cover a wide range of topics including real estate transactions, early scholarship plans, and efforts to establish preparatory schools for Davidson. Scope and Contents This colleciton contains information about the Humanities program including brochures, correspondence, syllabi, and grant proposals. The correspondence is intrafaculty correspondence related to revisions in the program made in the early 1980s and their relation to the NEH grant. The NEH grant folder contains the proposal and materials presented to the NEH in 1985.
