This collection was created for the 2005 Board of Visitors Meeting. The recordings include: 1) "Convival Pursuits: A Conversation with Hansford Epes '61 and Leland Park '63" (2005-02-24), 2) Charlotte Talks with WFAE 90.7 "General Davidson's Wallet" (2001-07-03), 3)Davidson College Campus Tour with Dr. Chalmers G. Davidson' 28 (1984). There is a dvd of the presentation by Hansford Epes and Leland Park (DVD 11).

Dr. Chalmers Davidson held several roles at Davidson: Associate Professor of History (1936-1946), Professor of Hisory (1946-1976), Professor Emeritus, Library Director, College Archivist. Dr. Davidson is being interviewed on his 50th anniversary at Davidson College.

Scope and Contents The collection begins with a copy of the Union Library constitution and rules. (NOTE: copies of the original catalogs are housed in the Davidsoniana Room). The records relating to Cornelia Shaw consist primarily of correspondence, 1903-1934; a scrapbook of bookplates and photos of the move from Carnegie Library to Grey Library; copies of the Union Library Constitution and Rules; and a journal entitled "Days and Decoration Hints, 1911-1922."
