Biography
Robert Williams retired in spring 2003 as Vail Professor of History at Davidson College, where he served for 12 years as vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty. Professor Williams is the author of numerous articles and books on Russian history. At Davidson, he received the Thomas Jefferson Award for outstanding service and teaching.
