Biography
Fred Deese worked in Davidson College's Physcial Plant for 34 years. Fred and his wife, Janie, raised nine children on a farm near Davidson College. Fred passed away in 1993. In 2021 Fred's son, Willie Deese, accepted an honorary degree at the college's commencement ceremony.
