Biographical / Historical
Originally, the Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the office was renamed Assistant Dean for Academic Administration in 1999. Responsibilities of the Assistant Dean include editing the college catalogue and faculty handbook as well as completing surveys, maintaining demographic information on faculty, serving as secretary to the Faculty Study and Research Committee, and supervising faculty assistants. In addition, this office maintains faculty travel files, offices assignments, and advices on computer use.
