Scope and Contents
This collection contains e-mail correspondence regarding events sponsored by the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) and examples of flyers for events 2007-2002. Additionally, there is a file with instructions for the officers of the SAC, annual report and grant data for 2008-2009. The Document dvd for 2008-2009 has Publisher and Word files for posters, Toilet Paper, essays, grant applicants and reports. Some of the documents are included in the printed files, others are only on the dvd. The oversize files are publications of "The Toilet Paper" during the Spring 2005 semester and other assorted years.

Biographical / Historical
The Student Advisory Committee (SAC) was created by the Dean Rusk Program in order to increase student involvement in international activities on campus. The students on the board are allotted a budget in order to fund what they deem important for the campus in regards to international studies. As described on their website, "the Student Advisory Committee conceives and implements ideas for programs, plans cultural events and study breaks, and publishes a newsletter on current events as well as an electronic international affairs journal... The SAC presents a public speaker or event every third Sunday."
