Scope and Contents

The files consist of administrative records: correspondence, reports, memorandums and related records. Materials in box 1 relate to organizing events, the 1987 campaign and the Presbyterian Synod and its relationship to college. Materials in box 2 include correspondence on changes to the lyrics of the collage alma mater, All Hail, O Davidson photocopies of original correspondence of Samuel Williamson, second president of Davidson College, and memo on the college's acquisition of the McConnell farm.
