Biographical / Historical
The publication Purple Bunnies was founded by Zoe Segnitz, class of 2004. It was chartered by the Student Government Association in November 2002. Each issue of the magazine covers a specific topic. The first issue appeared in November 2002 and focused on eating disorders. Articles and essays are written by students and faculty. Members of the original staff inlcude Felicia Browne, Robyn Flewelling, Ashley Hallsted, Hannah Legerton, Kristy Marynak, Georgia Ringle, Zoe Segnitz and Russ White. In the fall of 2004, the publication's name was changed to The Unspoken Word. The collection consists of copies of issues, as well as a flyer seeking submissions.
