Scope and Contents

Oral history interview with Jason Hillen, Davidson College class of 1988. Hillen shares his experience attending Davidson College. He talks about being a student-athlete, having a job while on campus, and continuing to support the basketball team as an alum. Hillen discusses finding community among Black folks while feeling isolated on campus. He refers to campus figures such as Gerald Carr and Reverend Brenda Tapia. This interview was done as part of the Stories yet to be Told grant.
