Biographical / Historical

The American Chemical Society is a national organization, but Davidson College has student-led organization "whose goal is to enhance awareness and knowledge about chemistry in our everyday lives both among our own members and throughout the local community" called the Student Affiliates. Members can choose to join the American Chemical Society or join the American Chemical Society - Student Affiliates. They meet bi-weekly and sometimes bring in speakers.
