Biographical / Historical
Charted by Athena Stevens, class of 2006, and the Student Government Association (SGA) in 2001, Campus Revolutionaries Implementing Progress (CRIP) was created to "network people interested in disability rights issues, inform the Davidson campus on human rights violations injuring people with disabilities, and to encourage the college administration to pursue a least restrictive campus environment." CRIP has written in the student newspaper, sponsored discussions and workshops, and helped produce plays, such as "A Thirst" and "Speech" by Athena Stevens
