Scope and Contents

The first file contains a draft of their constitution and multiple years' budget requests to the Activities Tax Council (ATC). The second folder contains correspondence in the form of e-mails concerning their first CD release, the Delilahs history, and an announcement of their Fall 2005 concert. The third folder contains printed materials, including flyers and invitations. The fourth folder contains the front page of their website as well as news articles of their organization. The Archives is also in possession of their first CD, "Falling into Place" (2001), catalogued as CD-005 and a video of them performing at the Sloan Music Center Dedication (October 2002), catalogued as Video 226. The fifth folder contains correspondence in the form of e-mails.

Biographical / Historical

Founded by five students in 1998, the Delilahs is a student-run group of female a capella singers. Auditions are held each fall based on "musical proficiency, personality, and present needs." The group holds smaller performances around campus for different events, hosts a cappella groups from other colleges, and has a concert once a semester. They have released two CDs for sale thus far, "Falling into Place" (2001) and "Head over Heals" (2004).
