The Davidson Breakdance Club Decipher was created by Minh Nguyen and Joshua Choi, both class of 2008, in the Spring of 2005, but a small group that would form the club particpated in Block Party in Fall 2005, which was sponsored by the Diversity Coordinating Committee (DCC). It also participated in Dance Ensemble, Black History Month activities, and "Dancing for Ada" sponsored by Turner Women's Eating House. Decipher applied for Activiy Tax Council (ATC) status and funds until Spring 2006. It participated in teh Breakdance Party with the Asian Culture & Awareness Association (ACAA) each year it has been held.
