Scope and Contents

Correspondence contains two e-mails between members of Androgyny and the Archives Fellow. It also includes a letter, circa 2007, from Androgyny to other a-cappella groups asking to swap arrangments. The Music Libraries folder contains lists of arranged songs that Androgyny could sing in 2007. A digital copy of this list is stored in Androgyny's Digital Records Folder. The Records folder contains a copy of the constitution, their 2006 re-chartering proposal, their 2006 budget proposal, and a vote count from 2007. Printed Materials contains mostly flyers. Arranged Sheet Music includes a copy of Androgyny's arrangement of "Last Name." The websites folder have pages printed out in April 2007 from the college website as well as Androgyny's MySpace website. More website screenshots are available in the Digital Records Folder. Also in Digital Records are rehearsal and performance mp3 files.

Biographical / Historical

Androgyny is the college's first and only co-ed a cappella group. It was created in 1998 by Yves Corbeire class of 2002, Julie Hwang class of 2002 and Carrie Anderson. Androgyny has released two CDs since then; Everything But the Piano (2003) and The Acapocalypse (2006). By 2009, Androgyny was chartered as a non-profit organization.
