"The Gamut Dance Company aims to establish an outlet for advanced, technically trained dancers to work in a classical dance-intensive enviroment with professional choreographers, and to establish a dance program of national caliber." [History] The group has a close relationship with the North Carolina Dance Theatre (NCDT), whose instructors audition potential Gamut members, teach Gamut's dance classes, judge Gamut member's proposed choreography, and offer feedback to all members.
