Biographical / Historical

The national honorary fraternity was founded in 1912. Its purpose was to promote physical fitness of college students. Students were required to pass fifteen proficiency tests to become members. The Davidson College chapter was charted on June 4, 1929. By the spring of 1930, the chapter was hosting an athletic competition and awarding a trophy as a part of the college's intramural program. The last mention of the fraternity is in 1968.
