Scope and Contents

The collection contains some historical information about the chapter. There are minutes from 1880-1930; these are oversized and are housed separately. There is a report to the national headquarters describing the founding of the chapter and a Kappa Alpha Magazine from 1884 with several mentions of the Davidson chapter's activities. There is correspondence from 1958, 1980-1988. The printed material contains general information about the group, and there are also chapter publications from 1934-1980 and invitations and programs from 1949-1987 and 2000-2001. In addition, there are rush p ublications from 1951-1961. The Record Book, 1955-1970 lists members and includes some biographical information (birthdates, organizations and student activities) See also DC0280s, John M.
