Biographical / Historical

The position of Executive Assistant to the President was created in 1991 to provide support for the Office of the President, particularly in the area of facilities planning. Previously, there had been Assistants to the President and Administrative Interns assisting with day to day activities. The job was reconfigured to work closely with Institutional Research and the first Executive Assistant was John Kelton, who also served as Director of Institutional Research.
