Biographical / Historical
Students for New Learning (SNL) was created in April 2000 by Jimmy Constantine, Ashley Crimmins, Paul Gravel, and Andrew Morsink. This organization was created with two main goals. First, it would provide a forum where students with learning disabilities could meet confidentially and comfortably to discuss challenges and success stories, while sharing strategies for coping and planning. Second, SNL promotes campus awareness of learning disabilities, also called learning differences, through speakers, panel discussions, and workshops. Membership is confidential.
