Biographical / Historical

Gilmer Brenizer was graduated from Davidson in 1882. While a student he was a member of the Philanthropic Society. After graduation he worked as a bookkeeper, cotton buyer, and revenue officer. In 1888 he became the secretary of Victor Cotton Mills in Charlotte, NC. He later worked in the civil service in Washington, DC.
