Harlee Morrison was graduated from Davidson College in 1916. After graduation, he attended the University of Virginia and taught at Alabama Presbyterian College and Texas Military College. He also served in the Texas House of Representatives from 1932-1936 and was a county judge in Kaufman County, Texas from 1944-1948.
