Biographical / Historical

William Richard Grey was graduated from Davidson College in 1884. While a student, he won the Latin Medal in 1884 and the Greek medal in 1884. He attended Johns Hopkins University and returned to Davidson College to teach Latin and French. He was on the faculty from 1893 to 1935.
