Frank Lee Jackson Collection
Scope and Contents
The collection contains biographical information, correspondence, literary materials, printed materials, photographs, memorabilia, and restricted information. The biographical information includes information about his years at Davidson, general biographical information and biographical sketches, obituaries and memorials, and information about his family. The correspondence is from 1929-1975 and includes letters from former presidents of Davidson College and also correspondence related to Omicron Delta Kappa Honor fraternity. The literary material includes manuscripts written about Davidson College, and a paper written by Philip Blue, class of 1978 on the Memories of Davidson College manuscript. There are also speeches which he gave between 1927- 1958, plus many undated speeches. There is printed material, including newspaper clippings and articles, about Jackson's time as treasurer of Davidson College, as mayor of Davidson, and as a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. There are general photographs of Jackson and his family, and there are photographs related to Omicron Delta Kappa. The memorabilia contains Jackson's signature plate from his time as treasurer.

Biographical / Historical
Frank Lee "Cash" Jackson was graduated from Davidson College in 1906. He served as the Davidson College treasurer and business manager from 1913-1951. He served as the Mayor of Davidson, NC from 1951-1969. He died in 1971.
