Hugh McLaurin Currie graduated from Davidson College in the class of 1924. While at Davidson, he was a member of the Pandeinic Literary Society, the Florida Club, and the International Relations Club. After leaving Davidson, he served in the United States Navy and with the Federal Housing Authority.
