Gamble-Goodrum-Cooke Albums
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of three booklets of reprinted photographs and documents for the Joseph and Connie Williamson Gamble Family and the Goodrum and Cooke Families. The booklets were printed from a DVD created by Cooke. The Gamble Family booklets contains photographs from 1900 to 2000 with some family charts and a family history written by Mary Gamble Brotherton. The Goodrum family booklet also contains family charts, documents and photographs. The Cooke family materials include a photo album for Selma Gamble Cooke and two volumes for the Cooke Family Reunion and genealogical record. The Gamble and Goodrum families have lived in and around Cornelius and Davidson, North Carolina for several generations. Joseph G. Gamble served as postmaster in Davidson, NC in 1924.
