Biographical / Historical

Arthur Haake, Davidson College class of 1936, came to Davidson from Brooklyn, New York. While at college he was active in Sigma Upsilon, a writing society; the German Club, theatre productions and played baseball all four years. After graduation he attended Harvard Law School receiving an LLB in 1939. He joined the Marines and served as an officer rising to rank of Colonel by 1961.
