The Westside Stakeholders, 2007
Scope and Contents
This series contains oral histories conducted for Dr. Pamela Grundy's HIS 353 course in the spring of 2007. These interviews focus on the West Davidson Stakeholder Committee, also known as the Westside Stakeholders. The Westside Stakeholder Committee was established by the Town of Davidson in early 2006. The Committee was an independent group of residents that worked with the Town government to respond to the needs of the Westside community. The 2006-2007 Stakeholders concentrated on some of the following issues: development, transportation needs, public safety, historic preservation, small business, affordable housing.
