Scope and Contents

Becca Stimson graduated from Davidson College in 1977. She was a Chemistry major, a member of Emanon eating house and the basketball, field hockey and tennis teams. The interview was conducted by Katharine Cabot and Annabel Winters-McCabe. Interviewers were in Davidson, NC, and Alum was in Chattanooga, TN. Becca Stimson discussed her experiences of classes, residential life, being a student athlete and her life-long Davidson friendships. She referred to Former Davidson Presidents Sam Spencer and Robert Vagt by name, as well as professors Charlie Lloyd and Tom Clark. The interview was conducted as part of an Associated Colleges of the South (ACS) grant-funded course led by Dr. Rose Stremlau.
