Scope and Contents
Meg Kimmel came to Davidson with her husband who landed his first job as a psychology professor. During the interview Meg discusses what it was like being a part of the first coed graduating class of Davidson. Her unique experience includes interactions with both students and faculty as a wife of a professor and what it was like being both pregnant and a mom while going to school at Davidson. Meg’s experiences add a distinctive glimpse into the life of one of the original female students at Davidson. The interview was conducted as part of an Associated Colleges of the South (ACS) grant-funded course led by Dr. Rose Stremlau.
