Oral history interview with Jaylen Thompson, Davidson College class of 2020. This interview was conducted as part of the Stories Yet to be Told grant funded initiative. In the interview, Thompson discusses the social dynamics of the soccer team, navigating multicultural identities, the social bubble of athletics, the Black Student Coalition, the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on his senior year, the power of physical space for fostering connections, and building community with other Black students on campus. Thompson mentions Dr. Hucks, Dr. Ewoodzie, Chris Clooney, Liz Robinson, and Dr. Wills as individuals who made a significant impact on his time at Davidson College.
