Scope and Contents

William P. Cumming '21 and Betty Cumming are interviewed about the Davidson College Centennial Celebration that took place in 1937. They also discuss other aspects of Davidson College history. The interview was conducted leading up to the Davidson College Sesquicentennial Celebration. An interview highlight includes the Cummings retelling of the ill-fated Centennial Celebration Pageant. After the 30-minute mark the interview ends and the remainder of the recording consists of a seemingly unrelated music performance.
