Oral history interviews of the Irving Bienstock project

Scope and Contents

Irving Bienstock was born in Dortmund, Germany in 1926 and fled Nazi persecution. At the time of the interview, Mr. Bienstock lived in Charlotte, NC where he volunteered with the Butterfly Project to educate children about the Holocaust. The collection contains six video recordings of oral history interviews with Mr. Bienstock with accompanying transcripts, as well as supplementary research files.
